“Bookshops are my Disneyland!”. Bookshop lover, Yoga Onion, would highly recommend Watkins Books in London. Established in 1893, it could be the oldest esoteric bookshop in the UK, specialising in mind, body, spirit, modern teachers, magic and much more.
In general, Hades and Persephone had three kids: Macaria, Zagreus and Melinoe.
Macaria was the goddess of blessed death and, in some cases, was considered as Thanatos’ partner/pair
Zagreus was considered the “first Dionysus” and was worshipped by the followers of Orphism, which made him the god of Orphic mysteries and the hunt
Melinoe was sometimes considered a nymph and was often mistaken for Hecate. She was a goddess of ghosts, and in the Orphic Hymns, was the bringer of madness and nightmares.
Some cases have found that Plutus and the Furies were also Hades’ children; but there were other sources that indicated they were not, and these are usually the ones people take as a fact.
Btw, some sources might tell you that either one of these kids is a child of just Persephone or Hades, but can we all agree that Hades and Persephone still had kids and made a great family together rather than *cough* Zeus?
“I think perhaps love comes from finding someone you feel utterly comfortable with, someone who makes you comfortable with yourself. It’s like…finding yourself, or maybe it’s like finding the other part of yourself.”
